Seriously though. Before anyone starts moaning because their thread gets (or has already been) merged, please take a moment to look about this forum and see just how many existing threads there are on a subject.
This afternoon, the entire first page basically of this forum was full of threads about Tom/George and Rafa. I know its a "hot subject", but this is just silly. People are always on about the quality of this forum and so forth, and nobody wants to wade through a dozen threads on essentially the same topic. So please take a bit of responsibility for it yourselves, and just stop to think before you post a new thread. I know people want to think their opinions should get read rather than possibly disappearing into an existing thread, but if everyone does it, well, your thread, and your opinions, will disappear anyway.
The same goes for after a match. If you have something different or something genuinely interesting to say, great, make a new thread about it. But of all you've got is a slightly different take on an already existing subject, please put it in an existing thread. If you don't, it may well be merged at any time, and if that means occasionally inappropriate threads get stuck in together because the few mods we have haven't got time to read everything fully, well, I'm sorry, but you try sorting such a mess out and see how well you'd do.
