Gerrard with a great burst into the box, a sliding Newcastle challenge knocks it out for a corner. No contact and he was in on goal.
Corner tipped wide for another, played in but header is easy for Given to claim. He throws it straight down the other end to us.Comment

This formation is looking promising in the early stages, then the ball comes to Momo in an attacking midfield position and it bounces off him to a Newcastle player.

Arbeloa caught late on a bit of a hospital pass by Lucas, hobbling.
