But it's all about opinions isn't it?
Just because merseycider thinks sacking Rafa and bringing in Mourinho would be a good thing, it doesn't make him disloyal, to Rafa perhaps, but then we all support LFC not Rafa FC.
I just cannot understand certain people who say they'd stop caring/supporting if Rafa is replaced by Mourinho. Now that is being disloyal.
And if he said Slur Alex to replace Rafa?
--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--
It comes with time. Down the years Ive read so much ****e and so many false dawns and seen all manner of 'crisis' that have turned out to be **** all in the grand scheme of things. This is no different. Im in with LFC for what'll hopefully be atleast another 50-60 years so whats happeneing now, if anything does actually happen, will just be something I'll live with. As a wise man once wrote, 'Youve got to roll with the punches to get whats real'.
What if Rafa listens to that same wise man and thinks he might as well jump?
Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it
Id swap Rafa for Mourinho in a second, and any red who wouldnt is mad. The man has proven (twice) that he can do it domestically, and Rafa looks as far away as ever at cracking that particular nut.
Cant see it happening though.
he won it waith money bags chelsea, means **** all when talking about lfc doesn't it, i wouldn't swap, and i'm not mad, and i don't see how being a possible second place in the table (assuming we win our game in hand) is as far away as ever - total nonsense
Rijkaard team convinced Barcelona will make change
tribalfootball.com - November 25, 2007
Frank Rijkaard is on his way out of Barcelona in December, it has been revealed.
The Observer says Johan Neeskens, Rijkaard's assistant coach at the Nou Camp, has told friends that he believes the pair will be replaced during the winter break regardless of results before then.
Jose Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes, has been contacted by Barca - and Real Madrid - to prepare the ex-Chelsea boss for an opening at one of the two Spanish giants. Though Bernd Schuster's team are top of the Primera Liga, the German has upset members of Real's hierarchy.
Both positions appeal to Mourinho, who is aware that the 23 December meeting between Real and Barca could open up one or the other. In typically thorough style, he and his coaching staff have begun to devise outline strategies for each club.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The bit that I've put in bold is a key thing for me. If Rafa was sacked for a fall out with the clubs owners we would be no better than Madrid. We could possibly end up just like them having a new manager every season.
Well, at least it looks like that miserable man won't be joining our fantastic club.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Mourinho is like a showman (or a yank wrestler) it's all part of the act. If Rafa left/was sacked I wouldn't mind Mourinho coming in to replace him. I see nothing wrong in being supremely confident in yourself and your team and he instills that sense of confidence in his teams. Ok, he'd bring the wrong kind of headlines but it would do two things for us I think :-
1) Win us the league.
2) Piss off the Mancs and Chavs.
How can you say those two points wouldn't have us all celebrating? Rafa is a fantastic manager if not baffling at times but if you call out your boss, sooner or later he'll call your bluff. Rafa has being doing this since he joined us. Every single transfer window he's made the thinly veiled threats about leaving if he's not backed and sooner or later it's gonna come back and bite him in the arse. This alone isn't the Liverpool way as we don't wash our dirty linen in public and i'm surprised Montse hasn't pointed this out to Rafa. As an employer myself I know it's not good to have to back down to an employee and i'd rather lose that employee than lose face with the others.
Except we know Rafa would go to Madrid. There was a time when I knew he wouldnt but now, Im not confident in the slightest.
Mourinho to Barca.
Benitez to Real.
Schuster to England.
