    I'm not being negative "Howie"

Pennant has played well this season IMO but Babel obviously has the better eye for goal.

I like him, i really like him.

I also like how Rafa is using him, bringing him for the last 25mins or so in matches to run at tired defenders.

      Big future ahead of him.

Let's hope he keeps improving. Tremendous move between him and Gerrard for the third goal. He also set up Kuyt with a great chance. I believe he's got major talent, it's just a matter of us having the patience to play him. He's too good to get any better playing in the reserves, and I expect, like I have all season, that he'll have some great moments, and at other times frustrate us to no end.

He's not as good down the wing as Pennant but it's such a bonus to have even a slight goal threat in those positions. If Pennant could get 5-10 a season he'd be a completely different class of player but he's simply incapable of doing that.

He's definitely improving but I still have some concerns. He quite often decides to shoot from some impossible positions, especially after he bags one and gets confident. If he's playing as a winger his decision making needs to improve.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

That'll come with experience. If it was me at 22 playing in front of the Kop I'd be shooting from bloody everywhere

To be honest I want him shooting on sight and from all angles. He's got a superb shot, particularly first time - with or without backlift. I screamed at him to shoot first time today when Andy Gray said 'don't shoot', and he blasted a ****ing screamer just wide from a difficult angle.

He's a genuine threat with the ball at his feet and the goal within 20 yards or so.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He really impressed me today when he came on, i was really hoping he'd step his game up another level and he's done just that, still can't decided where i see his best position tho, i think he'd do well coming in from the right playing 3 up top

Babel, Lucas and Torres shows what Rafa can do when he is allowed to go for his first choice targets and not second or third choice.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Babel gives Rafa 'possibilities' he has everything from pace, power, skill and a final ball but needs time to develop and settle to the premiership.

If we deployed a 4-3-3 formation more often I think Babel would be an absolute monster in that kind of formation coming in from either wing. Great signing and will look like a bargain price in a couple of years time. Still only 21 as well so the future is very bright for him.
