What we have inherited are two businessmen who have managed to negotiate a £400million plus loan from the banks and found a decent architect. So far we have spent a net £22million in the transfer market (after making the CL final) and that's it. The only improvement so far is that we have a TV station. The ticketing situation has gone backwards and they have alienated the manager and some of the fans. Anybody notice that all the headlines about the so called crisis at Liverpool are from rags such as the People and NOTW?
These are organisations that don't report the news, but sell tits and sensationalism, if they ever get anything right it's down to pure luck. "An unnamed source" is just a way to make something up and avoid any legal implications.
Bascombe in the summer said the stadium wouldn't happen and we would miss out on all our top targets, now he has moved to a paper where he can write anything he likes as long as it grabs a headline. He's sold out."The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

How do you know it's garbage?Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostNot said they are, in what way do you feel the ticketing has gone backwards?
I am saying people shouldn't respond to the people as it is obv. garbage.
If you take a big loan now then you would have to pay sky high interest rate.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Well all I hear is of complaints this season from the likes of DJS and others about the inability to buy tickets online and the poor phone system. The ticketing hasn't improved. In fact little at the club has improved since they arrived. I'm talking tangible stuff not aspirational things. The most important thing is the team and the manager. For them not to be in ready contact with Rafa is criminal. Liverpool is a labour of love as you know not some commodity to wheel out and use when the cameras are on you.Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostNot said they are, in what way do you feel the ticketing has gone backwards?

Yes and no, there is a credit crunch which has made mney harder to come by but interest rates are dropping in America which does have a knock on effect to big deals like this. These guys will be using American backers, the papers are looking at borrowing in this country which is more expensive.Originally posted by AFII View PostHow do you know it's garbage?

Use the season ticket so don't notice. I know they didn't end out my Besiktas ticket (tod me they had and to wait for it until the last day) and I ended up missing the first 15 mins of the game, but that is it. Think the ticketing problems will partly be caused by the fact we are doing better on the pitch so a lot of the part time fans will be looking at going meaning the ticket lines are busier. Or like on the night of the Besiktas game there are a few people watching the other work and talking about how busy they are.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostWell all I hear is of complaints this season from the likes of DJS and others about the inability to buy tickets online and the poor phone system.
