Things will stay as they are till the mancs game Rafa won't leave but the transfers won't get sorted, however this might be a lesson for next january.

The things is there has to be a reason that they won't come back over till the manc game, and it's either to do with CL money (which doesn't sit really because the difference between getting knocked out in the group stage or the first round of the knockouts isn't that great money wise). I don't get the impression that hey are just being stubborn for the sake of it and I think something further will happen in the coming few weeks, wether it's the financing of the club purchase and stadium I don't know, but I think that seems the more likely.

No way mate, it wont make sense for Rafa or Liverpool, who he gonna go to?
Raf talked about 'his city' 'his fans' 'his liverpool' so he obviously isnt going to abandonne something he feels like that about quickly. He is onyl half way through the season, i dont think he is the type to leave in the middle of a season, especially one ths close.
I think he is just testing the Owners to see how far he can get.
They have been concentrating on other teams probably and he has got a bit pissed, knowing our Rafa his sending of E mails and phone calls have probably been the equivalent of Spam Bomb mailing and cold calling, who'd blame them if they got a bit pissed.
Liverpool knew what they where getting when Hicks and Gilette come over, it has always been said that the sons will come over to Liverpool in DEC-JAN to be the eyes and ears for them.
They have many teams whome they have t look after Liverpool are just one of them, so im sure Rafa is just one of there headaches at the moment.
I dont think Rafa will jump ship or get pushed till the summer TBH, i cant think of many liverpool fans who would want him to go so i dont think the Americans can gain anything from this, it disrupts there schedule, they would have to set up more meetings, we dont even have a number two who could step in at all so they would have to look at that.

I think that people are reading far too much into these statements.

It's all a storm in a tea cup.

I dont think he is leaving.
Rafa has been very happy lately, well before the bust up. G & H will make up with Rafa IMO for good next time.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

" The Stars entered uncharted ice on Tuesday, naming the first co-interim general managers in NHL history.

Owner Tom Hicks shocked the organization when he made the decision on his own, firing GM Doug Armstrong and naming Les Jackson and Brett Hull as co-GMs for the remainder of the season. Neither Armstrong nor team president Jim Lites was aware of the decision on Tuesday morning before Hicks called them and announced the changes. "

On the flip side it shows just how ruthless he is prepared to be.

I don't like the shared manager thing though. I hope he wouldn't try that here. Remeber Ged and Roy?!

Ruthlessness combined with good judgment is a positive attribute, like our Rafa. Ruthlessness combined with bad judgment is a bad attribute, like Souness ( the manager).

Judging by how his teams are performing I am still unsure about his judgment.

Keep an eye out for their results and we'll see if it was a good move or not.

we wouldn't even be talking about this **** if the arabs had took over. regardless if what went on i still remember their final statement.

ffs this is getting really stupid. why did the dallas coach get sacked? Our best start in the league in years and this is going on.

You don't know for a fact how things would have been with D.I.C. They could have been better, they could have been worse. We'll never know.

He sacked them so they can replace Rafa.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
