Thanjk you.

You don't know for a fact how things would have been with D.I.C. They could have been better, they could have been worse. We'll never know.
Never say never
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
You seriously think DIC could come back on the scene?
One thing is for sure, if they had a 7 year get out plan, they would definitely have backed their Manager (whoever they felt that should be) with big money in order to ensure growth of their 'investment'.

For those who this Chris Bascombe is outside the loop they are VERY much mistaken.
For those of you who don't know, Chris is a massive Liverpool fan and was genuinely upset with the (unfair in my opinion but that is another topic) criticism he recieved from the forums when he left the echo - like I said I don't want to get involved in that as we have to agree to disagree.
To back up Tom, I know someone in the local media (not Chris by the way) and Chris has huge links with the playing staff and Rafa. Anything about the relationship between the board and Rafa that Chris reports is pretty much staright from Rafa.
Not sure about the sacking story source but must have some substance.
If you ever read a story about one of the local players from Chris, trust me it is from the horses mouth.
Also, we all used to trust Chris in terms of his stories. Why suddenly have we started to doubt it when he goes to as many games as before and does not work from London?
Can't people see we are in no better position than under Moores. He earned £80m from the takeover, and Parry £500k. Personally I think the club has been badly mananged and these two Americans are very bad news. £500m debts!!! It is a joke and jeopardises the future of the club as we used to pay max £4m a season in interest.
I am angry with Moores and Parry with the way they have sold out to the highest bidder. We've spent £25m a season net for years and this is only what we should be spending - Hicks is a lying for saying anything else!
Hicks and Gillette should f**k off back to US sports and stop hiding behind the (fantastic by the way - I admit that much) stadium plans.
I feel that strongly about the direction of the club - we were promised things that were lies from Parry, Gillette and the Risdale mark 2 Hicks!!!
Rant over!
I will repeat.
Bascombe has NOT had a source since Rafa took over.

Alright I am trying to get this all straight in my mind about what was said and when, so help me out here. Rumours in red, actual comments in bold.

Monday November 19th:- Rafa linked with Bayern Munich, says
""I heard about the rumours at the weekend, and it is always flattering to be linked with other big clubs - because it must mean you are doing something right," Benitez said.
"But even if I was approached I would tell whichever club it was that I am really happy with my club, my squad, my supporters and my city.
"There are still many things which I want to do here, so I am planning on being here for a long time."
Thursday 22nd November
That press conference, according to Liverpool Echo journalist Tony Barratt described Rafa as being “clearly in a bad mood” at the ten-minute press-conference today, saying that the manager brushed questions off with “the same cryptic answer”. For example, regarding England’s performance last night, he said: “I prefer to concentrate on training and coaching my team.” Then when asked about Newcastle’s threat this weekend, in similar fashion Rafa responded: “I am focusing on coaching and training my team.”
A few hours later on Thursday ..
Hicks and Gilette respond
""We made a significant investment in the playing squad during the summer and desperately want this team to succeed,"
"There are some very important games coming up in the next couple of weeks and all of us need to focus on winning those games and getting the best out of the players we already have at the club.
"We will leave any talk of buying or selling players until we come across to Liverpool in December and sit down with the manager then."
Rumours circulate that G&H hit the roof when they saw the press conference and one of them wanted Rafa fired right there and then, but the crisis is temporarily avoided.
Friday 23rd of November ?
Hicks says ""We now have some crucial games coming up in the Premier League and the Champions League and we want to see if we can win these games with the players we have.
"This was the message we gave to Rafa recently and I think during the international break he must have grown a bit frustrated about this.
Rafa must have been given this message then sometime around the 10th of November?
Now when did Hicks and Gillette tell Raf that none of the transfer business would be discussed until The 16th, I think it was a few weeks ago, anyone know ?
Rafa should not have aired his grievances through the press.
Hick's response was a complete disgrace and far too harsh. I'm beginning to really dislike the Texan. He's classless.
Rafa should remain strong and fight for his position and not jump ship if he doesn't get what he wants.
BUT Tony Barrett did have a direct conversation with Hicks and he's not being any more positive.
Oliver Kay in the Times, is also starting to sound the death knell, and he doesn't usually put his name to something unless he is at least 80% sure.
gotta laugh at the 80%, oliver kay knows no more than the rest, he's maybe a bit more clever in how he writes, but thats about it, i'll be interested to see the echo tomorrow - whats the bet they run with the headline - Rafa's job safe.
Also it's quite ironic all this sacking talk, was reading the other day that rafa if the 4th longest serving prem manager, to still be with his club, all the rest have even been sacked, moved on or relegated and promoted again. Only managers ahead of rafa are fergusson, wenger and moyes, like any of them or not they're all doing good jobs, says something for a bit of stability
The Americans can **** off if they sack Rafa.
There will be a riot in Liverpool if they do sack him.

After all that transfer scaremongering last summer I've considered him a complete joke ever since.
My arse he has links within the club, well maybe he does, just not of the reliable/informed kind.
Decamping to the Sunday scum hasn't helped his respectability.
bascombes a little ****house
he has been for years before his move to the sunday sun
his turning on houllier was disgusting
his writing for us since then has been diabolical serving nothing but his own agenda, whether he's right or wrong on this i dont give a **** hes still a prize cunt imo.
Whats the Kingmaker Dunk got to say about all of this? But seriously you need to start worrying when the owners come out in the press and back the Manager. They havent done that so far.
