Most articles seem to be saying that Rafa will need to back down in order for this to be sorted out (see Daily Post this morning).

IMO there's no way Rafa will back down. He doesn't seem the type of guy to change his footballing philosophy for anyone. So if the owners dont allow him to chase his transfer targets when he wants to, then he's gonna walk.

That's why he joined us in the first place. The chance to build his team and that's also why he hasn't joined Real yet.

I know it's been mentioned before, but Mourinho definately can't join another English club till the summer. Unless there is some kind of loophole.

Whatever the outcome of this saga is LFC for me has changed and not for the better. We have a huge fanbase made up of internet zombies who hide behind their keyboards slagging off individual players or the manager, whichever one they have an agenda against. We have a CEO who, quite frankly is as wet as an autumn weekend in Glasgow and we've been sold out to a pair of glitzy, hollywood style, paparazzi chasing loud mouth cunts, who know less about FOOTBALL than my 6 year old daughter. If Jose replaces Rafa it will be the final nail, will we see a return of his American Express adverts and a press conference where he talks about how special he is and how lucky we are to have him. Shanks once talked about 'The holy trinity' at clubs, he must be turning in his grave today seeing what the club he loved so much has become. Disgraceful!

Parry has bullied out Foster - so that he can maintain his position as the CEO - and then delay any communication between Rafa and the Americans - and Foster keeps thinking, that it was Rafa who did it (hence he left Liverpool after the Arsenal match).

Parry hasn't had the balls to handle the sale of Carson, Crouch and Riise - and to bring in some freebies - and instead kept talking to Rafa abt. waiting until the owners comes (and just doing business as usual = nothing but buying ties and curling hair).

Parry seems to want Rafa out - maybe being tired of having a proper manager more clever than himself around (able to point out why the club isn't moving forward).

Of course Hicks doesn't want a direct contact from Rafa, as they think they have checked up on how the organisation is - and have reinstated Parry as their man (as Foster has taken his tale between his legs and run away). They are busy businessmen, so you don't jumb the organisational ladder with them.

Rafa has nothing else to do (I would do the same - if I like Rafa would put the clubs interest before my own contractual situation - and before my joy of having bougth an expensive home for my family), so he sits squeezed in the situation between his job for LFC and his love for LFC.

Therefore - let the voice on wedensday go for Rafa - against him getting sacked - against Parry being CEO - and to calm down this situation.
