He has copped a lot of stick on here as of late, and in the first half he played like a headless chicken, but in the second half, with a bit of confidence things started to come good for him. He never gave up, was everywhere on the field and all he needs in my opinion is his confidence back. He looks like he feels under pressure from the competition for places, but I think discarding him would be a mistake. He's only 22 and just needs to be guided in the right direction from the coaching staff. Might not be first choice, but a valuable squad player.

His performance in the first half was disgraceful. But in the 2nd half, he showed what he can do. Still, he needs to pump up a lot of confidence

He is uncomposed when he is on the ball. That is his only problem. If he can sort that out, he would be a guaranteed starter for Liverpool but as fans and Rafa wants instant success, we do need to get rid of players who can't do bread and butter stuff so we can get others in and make it an better squad although we don't need another midfielder, we need the money.

Yes, but as I said it's all to do with confidence. He hasn't played well as of late but as soon as he felt a bit more comfortable, he stepped it up.

Its nothing to do with support, our manager when he signed him said "he runs around a lot but needs to learn passing" or words to that effect, he has one of the best "engines" in a player i have ever seen, but creates nothing and threatens noone. We should keep him but he should be used in games where we are struggling to get the ball, but in our league that will probably only be against Arsenal. I just dont think he has developed how Rafa hoped and if a big offer comes in again he will go.
