Eth, if pressure builds on the lad, he's gotta take it. If he think's his performances are good enough, he's mistaken.
I'm all for supporting players and giving them a chance, but there comes a time when you gotta say he's had his chance. 2 and a half years with little improvement.
We have much better central midfielders than him, 4 in fact. So leave him on the bench? Reserves? Or sell him on? I know what makes sense.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

He wasn't too bad when he made short passes in midfield, and made some great tackles, but asking him to do more than that exposed his weakness - particularly in the first half when he found himself in advanced positions.

He can do a job for us but Rafa has to realise his limitations. It's the same with Kuyt.

Yeah and what I'm trying to get at is that management are still sticking with the lad and he's getting games. He does have ability - balls were bouncing off him today and he was tripping over the ball - thats completely a confidence thing and of course the wee bit of luck - Momo has said himself that his performances have been **** - I still have faith in the lad and think he can be a star for us again - I'm not saying that he's better than any over our other midfielders here and its not about getting his chance, he's a squad player and can do a specific role of breaking up play and covering space - we will need that in certain games and we know that Rafa picks his team based on the opposition - Momo's LFC career has given us way more good performances than bad

So we can't have a brilliant young defensive midfielder in our squad if we want to win the league?

Momo is attracting interest from top clubs like Juve and Inter - why is that?
Id hardley say brilliant mate, I dont know why they are interested to be honest. Maybe because there league is a little slower than ours and he will suit there league better?
He is a good ball winner, for me the first form of defence is keeping the ball so the other team cant attack, and he doesnt do this.

When the lad was playing well (just last season) he was the new Viera - I think he's a brilliant talent that cost us next to nothing who is going through a confidence crisis at the moment.

I have lingering worries about that eye injury he sustained - I hope thats not the root of his problems

Hist first half hour was by far the worst performance I've ever seen from anyone in an LFC shirt. It was ludicrously poor even by his own low standards. This muppet needs to be shown the door ASAP. Against a decent side, he could have cost us points today and even if he did get better as the game went on that does not excuse a thing. I don't care how "low on confidence" he may or may not be - tripping over, passing to no-one/the opposition, scuffing the ball and kicking it against your own backside wouldn't be accepted at schoolboy level. Awful awful awful awful awful awful. AWFUL!

You could say the same about Gattuso and he's done alright for himself.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.
