    Guthrie doing well now.
If he keeps this up for Bolton we`ll have another decent CM next summer.
Guthrie and Momo are probably first don the list, but guthrie is local so that might mean something.

He is very good for breaking up play in the oppositons half. Yesterday and specially against Derby he broke up so many of there attacks even before they got started.

The main reason he got better in the second half was because he'd dropped a lot deeper, found himself in a lot more space and stuck to doing the things he does, errm, best - tackling and playing very very simple passes to more competent players.

It's stupid to suggest that he's some sort of backup for Masher, because he isn't. If he was, he wouldn't be bursting into the opponents half all the time - god knows why because he is utterly clueless when the ball comes to him in those areas.

If he could a) gain some composure, b) improve his passing game, c) improve his awareness, d) improve his consistency and e) become more disciplined he might be worth holding onto, but all the rubbish about him being young and with time on his side is just that, rubbish. In January, he will be 23. Crucial aspects of his game such as basic passing should already be there.

We're Liverpool. We don't have to wait around for 22/23 year olds to learn how to ****ing pass. Especially when we've got players like Lucas and ****, even Guthrie waiting in the wings who can already do it.

Guthrie and Momo are different types of player but you're spot on to say he's doing well at Bolton. I'd like to think he might get a chance at Liverpool next season which means with Gerrard, Alonso, Sissoko, Lucas and Mascherano competing for a centre midfield place, somethings got to give. I'd expect Momo to leave unless the Mascherano deal goes tits up.

Regarding yesterday's performance, Sissoko was pretty poor again IMO. In fact, on occasions, it looked liked his team mates were reluctant to pass to him. Fair play to Momo though, he never went missing and was always available for a pass. He's just not good enough at the moment and I don't think he's going to iron out some of his deficiencies

Sissoko is a destroy and when he is played in that position he does the job as well as anyone and put in some great tackles yesterday particularly in the second half. when he has the ball at his feet or tries to go forward then he is a total shambles. He needs to be aware of his limitations and concentrate on doing what he does best
