I love Carra, but no way should he be ahead of Terry and Rio. He's 3rd best.Originally posted by kev776 View PostI hope not, he is better than 3rd choice and thats all he will be whilst Terry and Ferdinand play
And his form this season has done nothing to increase his place in that pecking order.
As for the question, i dont think he'll come out of international retirement, no.

rio is lauded as some pacey ball playing centre half and thats why he gets picked.
when was the last time you saw him bring the ball out a la hansen, start an attack and join it further up the pitch?
when was the last time you saw him lapse in concentration?
for me carra is a better defender than both terry and rio. and a much more intelligent player. but he doesn't buy into the big i am like those 2 seem to.
Also, he is much more scouse than english for the london based media and the london based FA management.
terry is landan all the way and rio is a peckham boy. i'm not suggesting a conspiracy kept him out of the team, but i would say that his face probably doesn't quite fit. for those of you who don't live in london the standard is quite the propoganda machine for the big london clubs.
Carra has looked much better in the last few games. i'd imagine the rib/lung injury effected him more than we know because to me he is moving easier and back to reading the game like he does at his best.
and to answer the question, i doubt he'd change his mind- unless rafa does take the england job.
carra will finish his career close to cally's record i hope. he deserves it"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques"
