We are set up strongly to give it a good crack this season and all this **** comes about .. G&T have yet to earn my respect .... Rafa has got barrels of it to spare .. and I dont give respect out wily nilly ..

All this bollix saddens me deeply .. our competition must be pissing themselves ... in fact I know they are .. I have to read the ****ing texts ..all weekend
Nicey, nobody is happy with the situation but it could easily be a storm in a tea cup given the distance in miles between our owners and the Club.

Breathe in,put your coat on and go for a nice walk.

What has possibily changed is how he feels about his status at the club.

He works extremely hard to improve this team and his actions were done out of trying to ensure we don't get left behind. We know where we stand with Rafa.

Fair comment, but it smacks a little bit when one day he wants to be here long term and it's his city etc, then almost the next he is ready to up and go when in truth he has already spent alot of money (not all of it wisely in my mind) on a lot of players.

Rafa, like the rest of us needs to understand that the Americans do not have bottomless pockets , and if we dont qualify for the next stage of the Champions League there wont be as many dollars floating around because of that.

A lot of people here are worried about the club being laden with debt with the new stadium etc, be intresting to see how people would react if the Americans borrowed 100 million to purchase new players and put that debt on the club.

Id be upset and would hope that if they forced him out for what Rafa seems to be wanting i.e get players signed up quick etc....

People want to run around screaming "Woe and betide" at every little thing the London press are feeding us.

We have very little info as to whats happening and need to calm down until the yanks get here.
Agreed with that mate I don't read the Tabloids and really don't pay attetnion to them but Rafa's reaction at the PC said a lot to me and the look on his face was of a very unhappy bunny.

He reacted badly just after a call from Hicks and one day later seemed alot calmer. He`s human too.But this is not reaching meltdown point.IMHO.

It all depends on circumstances really like what are the reasons for rafa's sacking, how well did he he and the team perform in the season etc

For me assuming we don't have a really **** season and it's not a performance related sacking then i'll be really dissapointed, i'd be happy to make stand and be involved in any protests against the board.

It seems to me hicks is the main party here with attitude and knowledge issues so he'd probably be the most likely target. At the end of the day tho it probably wouldn't achieve anything and we'll move onto another manager, and probably another one after that in quick succession. I can't really see any good come from the sacking of Rafa in the long term.

Rafa and the owners have too much time and money invested in this to let it go pear shaped at the 1st hurdle the meet.
