Statement From Gillett And Hicks

Liverpool co-Chairmen George Gillett and Tom Hicks have today released the following statement.
"Despite speculation in today's newspapers, there is nothing new to say.

"We had a good win yesterday and have got some very important games coming up starting with Porto on Wednesday, followed by Bolton and Reading, before Marseille and Manchester United in a few weeks.

"Both of us, together with Chief Executive Rick Parry, plan to meet with Rafa when we come over mid December to make decisions on the team's requirements at that time."

Rafa resigning/getting fired I can deal with, but Kilteragh JR leaving would be the death of thic club.

I like his style, quite and dignified (never a heard a bad word from the kid ) , not like some other petulant types.

It sounds like, in so many words, they are saying 'Rafa will not be sacked BUT we'll still not be pushed into making any decisions before our planned meeting in Decemeber.

Save our Rafa : Help Needed

Just in case the owners are really thinking of getting rid of Rafa, it might not be a bad idea to get our voices out there to make sure they understand where we, his supporters , stand on this.

I'm sure that those that get to the games will do us proud. But for those of you that can't please take 15 minutes, to let the following know of your support for Rafa. For now, a statement of support for Rafa, should suffice.

If anyone has any other good contacts let me know and I'll include them.
