That doesn't sound goodOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostOkay it's over.
Rafa seemed quite guarded.....defiant at first in laying down the law in terms of what is most important for "de cloob" and that he will only talk about Porto - and he wasn't really drawn into commenting on all the ****e behind the scenes.
When asked if the Porto game would be his last, he simply said "I am sure that we will win".

Just rewound it and this is what was said:Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostHe was asked if we didn't win is he concerned it would be his last wasn't he?
Reporter: "I do have to ask you this though Rafa.......are you worried that this game against Porto could be your last?"
Rafa: "I am sure that we will win, and I am sure that we will play well, so...I am always thinking about to win the next game, and I will think about winning against Bolton."Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yank Tw@ts.
Rafa knows how to make a team/club a success and who tho fcuk is in the way of that now? Yanks & Parry.
Rafa's issue is that outbursts via the media arent acceptable to any owner nevermind ours. OPne of two conclusions there then, that communication between the owners and rafa about funds isnt working (so parry is the prob or they need to make mroe time) which is not rafa's fault or that rafa has decided to engineer his exit. which is surely unlikely.
Yanks, run our club properly or fcuk off.

Eh, I am only being realisticOriginally posted by kurtangle01 View PostYou don't half talk some ****e, fella.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

A Blackburn ST holder of many years SWEARS to me that this is true. Never been arsed to check the facts and see if they signed any black players at the time though.Originally posted by wiwma View Post

Of course, someone could've noticed that and started a scurrillous rumour...who knows. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

You could argue that Mourinho didn't sign Smertin.Originally posted by AFII View PostWhen was the last time a club won the league and the manager hadn't full control of the clubs signings?
So the last time was pretty ****ing recently, compared to when we last won the league.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

What we expected from the PC, surely?
What I don't understand is, is how people are calling Rafa a 'dead man walking' ? It beggars belief that sacking him is even an issue. We don't ****ing sack managers we are LFC. What are these stupid yanks doing to us

No, you're not.Originally posted by AFII View PostEh, I am only being realistic
If you honestly, and I mean really, believe that there will be a mass exodus of players in the summer then you need your head testing.
If Rafa goes I'd be surprised if any of our players left before giving whoever the new guy is in charge a realistic chance to show them how he would take them forward.
You just, as you do with incoming polayers, are merely reading the press reports about players leaving etc.. and believing every word and posting continuously about it.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!
