Really though, I think there are obviously other reasons too.
His family is settled on Merseyside, He is in the middle of what he realises is a very exciting project. He has put a heck of alot of work into Liverpool, still a work in progress and possibly a masterpiece. Youth set up, new stadium etc.
Everything is in place for Rafa to firmly establlish himself amongst the Liverpool greats, if he is not already.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I mean, if I had such a huge investment, you can be damn sure I'd be talking to other chairmen, chief executives, scouts, administrators - anyone in the know in the industry to familiarise myself with how that industry works. I reckon that Foster Gillett was supposed to be the person to learn the ropes and report back, but has been very remiss in his duties.
That is something Moores and Parry should have found out before selling the club to them if the above would be correct.

You don't sell the club to someone you don't know more or less 100% know the game. That's just plain stupid.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

and that questions Moores and why he sold to them in the first place.

Just shows how **** businessman Moores really is.

he loves liverpool and always wanted the best for us. he pumped his hard earned cash in for years, making severe losses, 10 m el haj?, the new zidane, heskey? and a hell of a lot more

give him a break , he gets too much unfair stick.

He didn't pump in any of his own money the last 10 years or so. He couldn't even give the club £10m to buy Kuyt from his own pockets.

He loaned the club the money.

You do know that G&H had to pay off a lot of debts when they bought the club. Another thing that proves that Moores didn't put any of his own money into the club.
