I don't think there is any way Rafa will be our manager next season I really don't.
I've been reading round a few sites and watched that show on LFC TV last night (tried to get through myself but couldn't). I think what Brian Reade said was interesting as he implied that the Bascombe story was fed by the yanks and Parry and that both parties thought it was an accurate assessment. It seems that our owners and CEO just want Rafa out plain and simple and no matter what we say or do, or what ex players and managers do it's not going to change their minds. Now I know it's Rashid but he has contacted Bascombe on this and Chris is convinced that Rafa is a dead man walking and even Rafa knows this.
I can't believe what they are doing to our club it's a disgrace. It seems that ego's are getting in the way of what's really important and that's Liverpool Football Club winning football matches. God knows who they will bring in to replace Rafa but as it stands I am so ****ed off it's un true.
And they'll put a yes man in charge. We need to do something. If this happens, the americans should be out of there, no matter what PR bull**** they'll be spouting.
I won't stand the fact that Rafa will be ousted because of these bull****ters. They've spent **** all since they took over our club. We've bought players with our CL money and now they're looking at borrowing money against the club to build the stadium.

I agree with this. Rafa will be gone in the summer.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Premier League bosses are under more pressure than ever before.
Yesterday Derby became the sixth top-flight club to make a change when they parted company with Billy Davies.
Concerned: Wenger sees politics becoming an increasing factor in managerial instability
And there have been reports Rafael Benitez is in danger of being sacked for his fall-out with Liverpool's American owners despite his side being unbeaten this season and just six points behind leaders Arsenal.
Wenger had some sympathy for the Spaniard, who he believes is doing a good job at Anfield but is being hampered by the foreign investors' lack of knowledge of the game.
"The fire is always ready but now it looks as though you are burned on the village green quicker than ever before," said the Frenchman, who has been in charge at Arsenal for 11 years.
"Rafa Benitez has done remarkably well at Liverpool and what is happening there is not down to sport or to results. It is down to internal differences.
"I am fortunate I have had the freedom and the support of my board to work as I want ever since I arrived in England. My directors understand you do not get success without that backing.
"But you need experience to realise that and I am not sure that everyone who has just bought their way into the game can appreciate that."
Wenger also expressed his surprise at Davies' departure from Pride Park.
The former Rams boss admitted when his side won promotion via the play-offs last season that the club had reached the Premier League too soon.
Wenger claims in such situations club officials need to gain some perspective.
"What is strange is that a manager can pay the price for over-achieving," he said. "It cannot be right that the guy has put the club in a position where they never dreamed of being and, 14 games later, he is sacked.
"We are always in a fragile position because you are quickly exposed when you don't have good results.
"But if you analyse the modern game, it seems to be more and more about politics now."
League Managers' Association chief executive John Barnwell admitted he was concerned by developments this season.
"Part of the problem is that rewards for success are so great that clubs and their owners are becoming more and more desperate to get a slice of it,"
"So the heat is on for managers and, if you can't deliver that success, it would appear that you go to the stake - as Arsene says.
"Managers seem to be getting less and less time every year to try to achieve that success before they are sent packing.
"It's interesting it's Arsene who makes this point because he knows the benefit of stability at a club."
You can want it all you like but unless someone has a spare billion about the place its not going to happen.
I've just had a rush of blood to the head. Yes, it's not constructive, but it's something that's got nothing to do with football. Internal politics and the fact that Rafa is a stubborn man.
We can certainly drive them out isn't it ? They will look for buyers.

If Rafa is sacked, I want these ****ers gone.
they won't sack him on footballing grounds cause if one's thing's for certain it's that they know sweet fa about footie. they should simply concentrate on financing the team and the stadium. this is what they've been brought in for, not for yankee-doodling their big egos.

There is **** all we can do.
We can't even vent our frustration out at them because they live in America. I mean how can they run a football club from the other side of the world. If reports are true and these 2 jokers aren't even speaking to each other then it just shows what dick heads they are. We are not a ****ing play thing yet they seem to be so up their own arses and more worried about their ego's than running our club the way the fans want it to be run.
If I could turn the clock back a full year I would want Moores to **** the idea of selling the club at least he was a football man.
Surely these pricks will realise that Rafa has started a huge restructuring of the club from youth level through to the first team, and any change on Manager now would be a massive set back in the clubs progress, not to mention the amount of money that would have been wasted.
"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley
The Echo seems more optimistic that he can stay today. Lawro even talking of Rick Parry riding in on a white horse to rescue the situation.
You would hope that if we win the two CL games and stay unbeaten in the league then they would be able to sort it out on the 16th Dec. By my reckoning that would more than likely put us second in the table, ahead of the Mancs, and with a reasonably easy task to reach the quarter-finals of the CL. Provided Rafa was prepared to apologise and promise that he won't slag them off in public again, surely they would see sense?

For me it's clear that there's a complete lack of communications, and I think Rafa touched on that at the beginning. These guys run many businesses, and LFC for them is just 'another one'.
If they can't put someone here (Foster Gillett) to do his job full time, then they should piss off. Rick Parry seems to be no more than a muppet at the moment. If there's a fallout between Parry and Rafa, it's certainly because of that.

I just don't think they like him as a person.
Well I'm sorry but if you don't like him as a person then tough. He's brilliant at his job.
They haven't got a clue, they don't understand and more importantly they don't give a **** they are just thinking of their own differences and screw the fans.
I might be way over the top in this but I think we have sold our soul to the devil.

Can't see it mate. He seems to have chosen his camp.

One of these two clowns even tagged Rafa as a 'genius' !
