I'm not whinging I'm just expressing a different viewpoint to you. I'm also not the one crying about saving the club, running around with petitions and contacting media agencies.

He is entitled to what? Air his dirty laundry and mumble on the same sentence like a zombie to give the press a field day and get every Liverpool fan worried we might lose him. He has done the same thing since he joined and was doing the same at every other club he has been at before. I am a massive fan of Rafa but he can't half act the prick at times.

He's airing the dirty laundry because he's not having what he's been promised and he's trying to get the fans behind him. He said that after the match on Saturday.

It's a trait of character that we should all learn to live with. Rather that than lies and PR bull****.

This crap isn't even annoying me anymore so I'm actually pissing myself laughing at some of the retarded posts in these forums - one thing I will do is bookmark the threads and revisit them and their posters at the end of the season.

So you may as well go back to where you were if you're going in on comments like that. Hardly inducing good discussion isn't it ? :whatever:

Why did you come back ? Are you a masochist ?

For me, it all comes down to backing down on their promises. Rafa has too much power and they want to cut down that control. They should **** off.
BUT - it looks more and more like a situation some years ago, when someone talked abt. wishing for a chair and getting a lampshade instead......

.... If Rafas job has been redefined, then he should have been told clearly and straigthout - not have to learn it from an absent son of an owner or from a tiefashion-star sitting in the office next door.

Why do most believe that the "situation" - if there still is one, and that there was even one in the first place - will lead to him being sacked?

It's all speculation, third hand rumours and professional bull****ters spouting off.

And it saddens me that the majority seem to have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

It's gotten to the point where people are starting up petitions FFS. Am I the only one embarrassed by this?

Just think, if Rafa hadn't been so candid in his press conference none of us would've had any idea this was going on.

I'm sure disagreements have taken place before between the hierarchy, it's just that this time it's been conducted in public.

Yet instead of treating it for what it was, a disagreement in club policy, we've been subjected to professional pessimists from all sides determined to make a mountain out of molehill.

And right during a crucial period for the club on the pitch.

I partly blame Rafa, I partly blame the media, and I partly blame the panic merchants who should get a life. You all need to have a word with yourselves.

Roll on Porto, and roll them over Redmen.
and some say Scotch people know **** all about football.

Don't throw your toys out of the pram yet.

There are two camps, those who are skeptical and those who are backing our manager. Sitting over a fence is simply being passive. It could be too late.

The americans simply have to issue a statement to diffuse it all and all will be forgotten. Why are they staying in their Ivory Tower at the other end of the world ?

I'm firmly of the opinion that the club have acted like ****s. All parties involved. I do think Rafa has used the fans to make a point also.

And rightly so. The club belongs to the fans ... or not ?

Instead of telling Rafa that he should concentrate on coaching and training his team they should just have said no to the Kaladze transfer and leave it at that.

It's not Parry's job to buy and sell players, that's Rafa's job. He probably even have it written in his contract, but that is a guess.

Hicks overstepped big time when he made his statement and showed what a classless **** he is.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

no the club belongs to the american owners...in a pedantic way.

I think Rafa has been clever.

Because he must have been cornered or prevented to do things his way.

What did they mean by the term 'custodian' when they signed up ?

thats fine mate. I see both sides of the story. Just wish they'd kept it in house.

Just before a massive game in the CL as well.
