might have been too big a game for yossi after injury and babel who still looks a bit lost at times- at this stage he is a better impact sub.

Dunno if you noticed Livvy but every time a Porto player hit the deck - he blew up for a foul. The first time he waved play on was for the push on Masher for their goal. The ref was trying so hard not to be a 'homer' that he actually went the other way.

I hate to ‘divide’ Liverpool supporters, but it’s clear there are some ‘proper’ and some not. I’m not saying there is a model for all LFC fans to follow, and it’s not a competition, but I can only assume these CLOWNS phoning 606 demanding Rafa be sacked are part-time glory hunters.

There’s a lad at my work who was excited to find out that I’m a Red. I was well pleased, as I always am, to find another Red at work – especially here in Manchester.

Every week, this lad asks me who we’re playing at the weekend.

I think it must be people like him who phone 606.

Steve Gerrard spoke about confidence being the difference, but did anyone see his goal celebration after the peno. As he was walking up to take it, their keeper was clapping his hands as some kind of tactic to put Stevie off. When the ball hit the back of the net Gerrard looked at the keeper on the ground and clapped his hands in what seemed to be a fcukyou way. This is scouse humour at its best from a very relaxed and confident player. Great to see.
