Isn't it a bit weird how most Reds have really taken to Montse. I know I have...I sense a bit of a cult hero in the making.

It's obviously the way she's taken to life on Merseyside...the passion she shows for her man and his job. Actually, the strength of feeling Rafa has for us - the cloob, the fans and the city - is seriously heart-warming and only adds to his already immense appeal.

For some reason I find it all quite humbling...that this classy pair from Madrid have taken everything Liverpool-related to their hearts. They could pretty much have their pick of any job/city in the world - yet they love it here and are desperate to stay.

I honestly believe Rafa would stay here for another ten years or more if he could. If I could sign something now to tie him up for another decade, I'd sign it in a flash.
