    Hidden message for Hicks/Gillette

Hey - did anybody notice, that Rafa did start with Torres, Voronin, Babel, Benayoun = the four most offensive and expensive players (except Lucas), he has brought into the club since Hicks/Gillette took over?

By that he did show them, that even with those good players, he still needs a few extra as cover, as Babel didn't succeed, Benayoun had ran out of energy to fast, and Voronin just ran around as if someone had his ponytail in a line.

It could be a coincidence, but I think that Rafa have picked them as one of his options as the one, which still could tell a message to the americans - MY TRANSFERS ARE GOOD, BUT I NEED ....

... on the other hand, if he wants peace until december, then it has not to be outspoken.

Voronin was also probably one of the cheapest players we've signed being a Bosman!

We should never start with Babel & Benayoun on the wings as neither are wingers and neither holds their position. We were very narrow last night. We'd be okay with one plus Kewell or one plus Pennant, but both together doesn't work well IMO.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

tbh i don't find any of them particularly offensive - perhaps babel with his lewd dutch liberal attitude. maybe voronin with his porno-ponytail. wonder how yossi feels about an independent palestinian state - room to be offended there for sure. that just leaves torres then. so you're actually right - ship out those other three ****ers and we can bring a bit of good old-fashioned family values back into the club.

Good to see you again DP. You'll be glad you made the move.

I mentioned something similar to my son while watching the game that it was unusual to see the 4 main signings from the summer on the pitch at the same time. I, however didn't consider it to be a message from Rafa to the yanks.

I thought that Babel did OK and he scares the hell out of defenders. He is starting to link up well with Gerrard and will only get better IMO. Torres was great, Voronin deserved his start after his heroics against Besiktas and Yossi will be better for the run.

All good and our destiny is firmly within our own hands!
