Fully fit, which he appears to be closer to than he has been in a couple of years, Harry is easily our best winger in the squad. He'll never have quite the pace he once had, but you can always see an element of true class in his play. If, and it is a big if, he can stay fit, he could yet play a vital role in our chances of success this season.

To me if fully fit only Ronaldo is better/comparable in the league, if not Europe. That's why Rafa has been so patient. Tell me who we can buy as a winger that compares to a fit Kewell?

The main thing that has struck me in the last few games is how relaxed on the ball he is.
The link up play between Kewell, Crouch and Torres is great for unlocking tight defenses. Gives us options for changing games.

I think that since he came back he hasnt really done anything wrong, and tonight was his most effective game yet. He was out for a long long time, so to get back to his best will take some effort, but your right, he is class, and if he stays injury free will make the squad so much better. ive got no time for the anti kewell brigade.

Harry just has natural winger instincts, coupled with a lot of experience. If he can stay fit, I dont see why we cant work out some sort of pay as you play deal.

Last night and the Blackburn game he's come on and we've instantly looked a more potent attacking side.
To me he's looking sharper and sharper each time i see him.

I pray we can keep him fit because the value of a fit Harry Kewell to this side knows no bounds, he's simply the best wide player we have on the books.

Kewell and Crouch changed the game for us last night.

It is encouraging to see how sharp Kewell has looked since his return, but as others have said, it's a matter of taking the softly, softly, approach, hoping he'll steer clear of injury. He's always had the talent, now it's time for him and us to reap the rewards.
