I used to visit Anfield 10 to 12 times a season until my wife and I went self employed and I haven't been there for over two years now due to us being so busy. I doesn't make me any less of a supporter than a season ticket holder. I spend hours every day in work checking out this forum and also the offal as well as other footie sites for news about the club and when I get home LFC TV is on all night (unless there's a good movie on or summat). All of this bollocks about having to live in the city and visiting every match is total cock. Without us supporters outside the city buying all the merchandise etc and signing up to Sky and Setanta the club would be ****ed big time without our revenue. More money enters the clubs coffers from outside the city than from in it that's for sure and that's based on all the replica shirts, dvd's, videos, sky revenue (that enables the club to stay in the top four and therefore generate more revenue etc by being more widely supported).

I have only been once to Anfield (cost me probably close to 1000 pounds that single trip) - I still reserve the right ti give my opinion on the club and don't think I'm a lesser supporter than regular matchgoers.......intend to go soon again and feel the trip is special, probably more special to me than for some who live in the city.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Evans then said "hang on, I've worked it out - you're going to Liverpool!" after which there was a very awkward silence.

He was only joking about the managers job, but from Gary Mac's reaction this could fit in.

I try and get myself to Anfield 5-6 times per season however because of where I live it costs £100-£200 for a flight add your beer money and match ticket on that and it takes some explaining to the missus.

It doesn't make me any more or less of a fan than you.
