There is supposed to be over 50,000 people on the waiting list. The new ground will shorten the list but it will still be large.

I remember hearing that the waiting list is 60,000 long, as at the start of the season. Either way it is clear that the new stadium won't clear or probably even make serious inroads into it. I think the only thing that will clear the list is a huge price hike.

I gave one up about 10 years ago when the kids were born, still have one but reapplied to have the other back about 8 years ago now and was told to get on the list. So much for loyalty - season ticket holder for well over 20 years going home and away. Anyway I sent another letter a few months back and got a reply stating I was about 8,000th on the list. Its worth writing to them just to see if they've still got you on record.

The problem they have is the season ticket you gave up has been sold to someone else. Loyalty is not giving up the ticket the years you don't want it and expecting it back when you do. I know you needed to give it up due to children but there are fans that have been waiting 10-15 yrs + for a season ticket. That is also loyalty.
