"Deadlines being put back" is pure speculation by the newspapers who had "sources close to the matter" (probably a bottle of ketchup at the table where the meeting was had) that there would be a 12th Jan announcement.
Mate, they're struggling to raise money. That's not speculation bollocks.

You've answered a different point... I agree the refinancing appears to be taking longer but I still don't see where a new deadline has been put back.

They aren't announcing the stadium plans because they've learned something from the last debacle. They don't want to announce anything until they've got the money in place. They are still trying to do this and are looking at getting the club to borrow the money for the stadium directly according to today's telegraph.

So basically they *might* not be dumping the aquisition debt on the club, just but another kind of debt - the construction debt of the stadium. More smoke and mirror finances from the yanks. The club is gong to be massively in debt you'd better get used to it.

Fine details mate, you're playing on words. What I meant was that we're still no closer to build this stadium.

And there's still another new planning application to go through.

All of this stinks mate. They've bought the club without any guarantees whatsoever (well they got a 1 year loan). You'll tell me they're sharp businessmen, but this is not a leveraged business here, it's a football club.

I have no more faith in them. Put it this way, they'll have to do a great deal more to win me.

I will start to believe G&H when we know for a fact what they will do.

All we know is what the press have reported, that is not exactly fact.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Thing is AF they don't know themselves. They're still trying to bridge the loan - they've got just under 2 weeks. They clearly overstretched themselves when they took the club on otherwise this wouldn't be happening. Quite frankly the club deserves and NEEDS better, more financially capable owners than this. This isn't idle speculation this is based on their undignified scramble to raise the finance they promised they had.

The last few days people on here were saying, things along the line of, if they give rafa a contract extension after the meeting they'd be happy. See any sign? I don't

It is such a shame that while we have been ****ing about, changing designs, checking colour schemes, buggering about with who will pay and how etc, Arsenal funded, designed and built a quality stadium. They are now streets ahead of us comercially.

That's what the 22 days left in my signature is all about. G&H have 22 days left to sort everything out. That isn't exactly a long time.

I would be amazed if they have not already decided which design they want. The two weeks is all about just as you say to give them more time to sort out the money.

Everybody seems to be overeacting on here yet again. You are like a bunch of kids waiting for xmas.

Although it was great having Moores, a true fan as chairman, him and Parry have to shoulder all of the blame with respect to why we're light years away financially from the likes of Arsenal and United. Our new stadium should've been in place by now.

I actually thought it was the 15th, but basically the cut-off point where they have to mature the loan they took out to re-finance the club.

And Parry was dealing with the americans and thought they were the real deal. One year on ...
