They'll use that as an excuse to try to leverage up the value of the club. Announcing a stadium this week doesn't necessarily mean they'll stay - it's all about the propaganda war concerning the levered value of the club.

I wonder if/when DIC take ownership or part ownership of the club they'll stick to the already recently approved and rubber stamped impressive and iconic HKS designs or will they proceed with one of the newer (and cheaper) AFL/HKS designs that are now on the table?

Just one of the many questions that hopefully be resolved in the next few weeks.

I got a text back from my mate at AFL during the match to say "Anfield is top secret" which I thought was a bit strange. I suppose it's possible they've been told they've got the job but not to say a word or it could jeopardise things.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but if they've not been told anything yet I reckon he would have said that. And if they've been told they've not got the job surely AFL wouldn't give a **** if it was kept secret or not?

So if I was a betting man, which I'm not, my Lady Godiva would be on AFL...
