Thanjk you.

I've just seen the new pictures, what's the difference between this stadium and the last one that was too expensive?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
The pictures on the offal are actually 100% scale size this time around.
Even so it will still taker them until 2015 to complete building works.
Where does it say that ???

I swear i read August 2011 in one of the reports???
Liverpool FC are pleased to reveal new designs for a spectacular 71,000 seater stadium to be built on Stanley Park in time for the 2011-12 season.
From the official site.
That's what I thought - with planning application issues I kind of expected there to be delay by maybe 12 months but never read anywhere that it was pushed back to 2015

I think the fact that we've gone with the HKS design, with the same footprint etc will mean that the planning application (already approved for the original design) will either stay approved, or will be fast-tracked through. So 2011 seems reasonable.
Well I've only just seen the new stadium designs and I like them, but it doesn't mean I've changed my mind about the two yanks.
I'm surprised that it's for a 71,000 seater stadium and that it's meant to be ready for August 2011 - but where would this tie in with our current planning permission? It was for 60,000+ and I thought that having more seats meant us needing to use the old railway station near the ground and needing to get that sorted before planning would be granted on a stadium that big?! Is this still the case, or can we just start digging and building whilst sorting all that out in the meantime?!
For me, building the new stadium and having it ready is most important (apart from getting rid of Bill and Ben of course) as we need more revenue in quick to help with our finances, so if it's due to be ready by mid 2011 then great.
Yes, of course, the two yanks are hoping the new designs will change fans' opinions of them, but it won't, however, at least something could well be finally happening with the white elephant of a new stadium at last! Won't be happy on the stadium front though until that first spade goes into the ground though.
I believe the undergroud executive boxes have been removed in case someone takes it upon themseves to cover the lift in top soil. Can't think why though?

Hhhmm, perhaps I should have used a sarcastic smilie as my post was meant to be a joke
Apologies for the confusion caused and just to clarify the stadium is not a miniature and is not scheduled for completion in 2015
Ones who support the club regardless of who the manager, the players or the owners are. It's known as "the Liverpool Way" for the immature amongst you like 'The Milkman'.
The other type never stops moaning about anything and everything, believes any old ****e because it's in the papers or they've heard it on 'Talksport' or because their mate on the internet knows a fella who has an uncle who's wife perms Rick Parry's hair...
I know which side I'm on but you carry on making this club a laughing stock...
