New stadium update...

JUST A THOUGHT, But with the design being changed because of price, apparently the price of steel has rocketed, hence the bulge feature now not being so thick or made from a shiny metal, a fantastic feature of the original i thought, especially viewed in real life i'd wager on a summers day.
It got me thinking, as the design's are as near as damn it the same, could this shiny feature be reinstated, say if the price of materials drops rapidly by the time the project is at a certain stage of construction.
I know, never mind what it look's like, so long as it's full, & we're watching our side winning...............the Prem, Oh & it get's built of course. But that feature...........

I got a tattoo of l.f.c on my arm with a big **** off liver bird above it but there is no full stop after the letter c. The tatoo artist and my bird reckon it looks more symetrical as it is. I reckon it looks daft.

You could get the extra full stop in there but have it coloured the same as what ever will be the backdrop for the tat. That way if anyone points out the punctuation issue you could confidently point out that the full stop is actually there, but for symetrical issues it is a different shade, thus giving you the upperhand in both language and art.

No it hasnt mate. 105 million has been put on us directly, the other 200 has been inderectly put on us through kop holdings.

And the stadium "debt" as you call it is no such thing. They have 60 million towards it from this latest loan. That wont last them 5 minutes, it will get the ball rolling and thats all. To build the thing, they will have to borrow another 200 million roughly.

Whose name do you think they are going to put the stadium 200 mill loan under? there ma? nope mate, it will be us, either directly, or under kop holdings.

THE revised stadium plan announced yesterday by Liverpool FC will require new planning applications, it was confirmed last night.

The club already has permission for HKS’s original 60,000-seater ground on Stanley Park, which was granted in November 2007.

That original stadium design envisaged 60,000 seats, with the option to later expand to 76,000 at a later date.

In January the Government decided not to “call in” those designs for further scrutiny.

However, because of changes to the stadium design – moving the underground car park, shrinking the concour- ses, and capacity rising to 71,000 – new permis- sions are needed.

It is understood the club will at first submit a variation to the existing permission, which could allow the work to start on the project within three months.

It would then submit a new application to get consent for the 71,000 seats, requiring an envi- ronmental impact study and transport plan.

The only thing I like about that is the way the Kop is joined to the other stands, no open corners.Not a bad effort though!
