I'm sure you all want to know my opinion on each set of plans, so I'll tell you: They're both ****e.

        So there.

i can't see this hks new design getting planning permision of the council never mind being built.we are led to believe to cut costs they have removed the 1000 space underground carpark.so were are all those cars ment to go?the original parrybowl had the carpark so it must have been something the council ask for.i am also thinking that the carpark could possibly be used by the blue****e fans when they are at home.
          who's arsed?

Nice idea at the end about renting the car park to Everton but remember by the time this is built Everton will be at the Tesco stadium, i'm not a Liverpudlian so i'm not sure of the geography but i imagine it would be hard to get them to park in Stanley Park for a match in Kirby!!

the opposition against everton going to kirkby is growing stronger by the locals.

The more i study the revised plan the more ugly & superficial it looks, basically its 4 propped up stands surrounded by a glass screen, No substance at all. Sad state of affairs.

Personally I couldn't give a monkey's toss what it looks like - within reason. As long as it's big, has lots of seats and a load of grass in the middle it'll do for me.

After all, Anfield is hardly a marvel of architectural innovation, but it is still a special place.

For H&G to be interested in the club they must have a new stadium.

Someone on RAWK suggested that those who wish our current to be ousted should try and find ways to block/delay Planning Permission for the stadium.
Apparently the MP for Walton/Anfield , Peter Kilfoyle , is opposed to H&G owning the club, so if anyone on here is a constituent they could contact him, it may help.

I don't know anything about planning regulations, anyone got any suggestions as to how Planning Permission could be stopped/delayed.?

I don't know but I very much doubt they would have dropped that from the plans - its not as if they would be saving a huge wad of money from not including that cafe etc - In fact it should be a decent tourist attraction (and money maker) on non match days with views across to North Wales in one direction and the pennines and the Kirkby Tesco Toffeedome in the other - viewing above the opposite Priory Road stand, you will of course be able to see town, the three graces and the cathedrals from it too.

                              Disabled areas I read somewhere.
Besides, I view that as a minor detail. On the whole, it ****s all over the parry bowl thing with its jazzed up arches....

Exactly that, that level is ground level outside the stadium. The only way of getting rid of it is to have no disabeled access for the kop which would be out of order.
