Today yes, but on the whole his corners are still average (even though we have scored in the last two games off of them, the one v Newcastle was not a great delivery). We must have better corner takers in the squad plus with his sweet striking he might be a better option on the edge of the box to get on the end of any loose balls, a la Scholes

I love the way we reacted to Anelka's miss. Just went about our business and punished Bolton for not taking their chance. This is the type of mentality that we were missing badly last season.

Bolton could say the result is lying, but we are leading 2-0 because we were sharp and vicious.

I always thought Alonso should take our corners with his passing ability.

I guess Torres has learned from the past two games to chip the goalkeeper, he has had about 4 chances in the last two games 1on1 with the goalie and has always tried to go around him, he has learnt his lesson!
