to be fair to leeds fans, that **** ken bates has put prices up all over the club - be it tickets or for just a pie and a pint at the game. he did this at a time when the club should have been looking to keep fans coming the game just after relegation, yet he made a decision to try and change leeds into chelsea of the north. he thought it was better to have 20,000 fans paying tip top prices, than keeping the prices reasonable and getting a full house. i think if that **** took our club over and did the same, i'd think twice about going.

This from the same Sunderland whom the Leeds fan I spoke of yesterday wrote off in entirety after their transfer window deals. The same guy who has such a vast knowledge and solution to all Liverpool dealings, yet his decision was such (Miller and Kavanagh scored):

      Varga (“Who?”)
Miller (“****, even at this level. Will never make it”)
Kavanagh (“Average player, will be found out at this level”)
Wallace (“Who? Never made it at Celtic and won’t at Sunderland”)

Look Mr Leeds, stick to your own team’s relegation fight – I’m sure if Rafa needs the help he’ll get in touch…
Was just going to say something similar, I'm surrounded by Leeds fans, I think just pointing and sniggering about Sunderland should be effective enough to gain about 12 hours peace, then they'll be back for more.

Other highly annoying fans in my general vicinity - Newcastle (no, you can't be a big club boys if you haven't won a trophy in 70 years) and a Crystal Palace fan who hasn't shut up about Andy Johnson even since he went to the biters, although he's been sensible enough to steer clear of me since the derby.

York City fans luckily have no delusions of grandeur, probably because (a) they're undeniably rubbish and (b) they play at "Kit-kat Cresent", I mean, seriously though

Thought - anyone think this could go in the general footy forum instead?

Ha ha, ****ing Kit-Kat Crescent! Forgot about that, I used to live quite close to York a few years ago and wanted to have a day out with the missus, my mate and his missus and were going to go to Bootham Cresesent (as it was) while they were still in the Football League (just…) – it was £18 a BLOODY TICKET!! £36 to watch that shower of ****e – glad they went down! Elland Road was £37 for the East Stand 3 years ago (2-2 draw) and apparently the tickets have gone up annually since!

As for the forum this is in, move it Michael (your angry pussy quite disturbs me!) if you must. It was originally meant as a ‘shut up about Liverpool you small time fan, stick to your own problems’ but its obviously just taken an angry old man rant about other teams…cool!

Ask the Leeds fan if they've sacked Blackwell yet or are they going to give him enough time and money to get them relegated and bankrupt.

Okay. As promised: my fancy multi-purpose spreadsheet based calendar which, in this case, shows you how the frequently the fixtures come at a glance. The only thing it doesn't tell you is who we're playing.

            Clicky >>> FootyCal2006to2007.xls <<< Clicky

Be aware that it uses macros to do what it does, so you'll have to enable them when you launch it. To make changes, go into the Setup worksheet where you can change dates and cell formats. The macros then copy your changes onto the front sheet when you click the "Recalc" button.

            Enjoy.

Nah, I get the intention, and our new challenger for "spreadsheet king" IJM has re-added an lfc edge so I'll leave it alone for now.

Yeah, I know York have been skint since time immemorial but that's ridiculous... almost as ridiculous as having your stadium sponsored by kitkat, I haven't met one person in this town who can call it that and keep a straight face.

And don't fear the angry pussy too much :Oo-er:

You can expect Leeds fans to have a pop because they know it'll be a long time (if at all) before the two clubs meet. They can shout up from the lower league, knowing they're out of harms way. What's more, they're ****ing experts on managerial inadequacies. Personally, I don't blame them for being bitter; their fall from grace has been massive.

I'm surprised he got out of bed in the morning.

Nice to see you here Del!

My wife is from Yorkshire and a few of her cousins are massive Leeds fans, ticket holders still. I don't want to seem anti-Leeds (I'd get my head caved in if I said that in my local!) to her or them but I must admit I ****ing love it when they lose!

Everything has always been other people's fault - they hate us because of Kewell and Carson - and they solely blame Ridsdale. Personally I don't remember a whisper when they were buying all and sundry, they were happy with the 'success'!

The funny thing is their ineptitude to grasp history - they still whine about a match years ago when the ref was bribed, yet if I mention Inter Milan in the semi final many years ago they dismiss it. My workmate even thought that they had won the European Cup, at which point I started ridiculing him! He was adamant though, and looked it up and you know what it was that they had won?..........

                      .......the ****ing Fairs Cup!!
