    Pitch Advertising

OK - not directly team or player related and forgive me if there is a valid reason for this but im just asking.

Why dont we have electronic pitch advertising for revenue?

Ive seen it in several grounds now and I suspect many teams will have it in the next 10 years or so - so why dont Liverpool have one?

Obviously there are reasons for not having it and im not aware of them so can anyone enlighten me why you cant increase advertising and ultimately revenues by installing an electronic thingy at the side of the pitch?

I'm sure I read ages ago we'd be getting it some time soon. Can't remember the source/details now.

Dont disagree but if I said hypothetically that by having it you could have an extra quality player (and im not saying that is the case as I dont know) for dealing with it - would you?

I agree it would be ****ing annoying at first. But I reckon we'd soon forget all about them. Football's all about money these days sadly

Its most likely inevitable but I dont have to like it ... any time I watch the scum play on the box .. I can help but notice AirAsia adverts it actually distracts me from the game even when I try not looking at them they are so big and animated that you cant help it, which they were no doubt designed to do

i've gotten quite used to them myself, after watching la liga and the scum a few times, and they don't bother me at all, at first i even thought it was a great idea and they looked kind of nice, since then they have come a bit tedious, but they don't bother me any more than the normal ones. i have however not seen them live so i have no idea if they'll bother you in the stands...

I hate the things, but if it helps fund a purchase of a world class player then i can accept them.

Simple solution - don't watch the Scum on the box...

This might sound petty but our company recommends financial products to clients from the whole market and funnily enough we haven't recommended any AIG plans for the last few years. Bizarre coincidence...

They will most prob wait until the new stadium is built.
On the advertising point aguy at the match was talking about the new stadium and said he wouldn't be suprised if long term the club plaster all the glass in the corners with adverts, not liely I know but it is a thought.
