Thanjk you.

I can see Rafa playing one up top, Crouch, with a few 'runners' behind him. Whether these will be Bellamy and Garcia I don't know, but I think Garcia will start. Gerrard will also support the main striker with Xabi and Momo protecting the back four.
Bellamy may not play there though, but I suspect that we'll try to play with pace on the break to get support for Crouch, which would suggest a starting role once again for Bellers.
Chelsea have found it difficult to cope with Crouch at times and him not playing last night suggests this is what Rafa'll do.
I hope he is brave with his team selection. Go looking for a win. Either Play with width. Start Gerrard in RM and Speedy on the left. Pace up front with Bellers and Kuyt. This would be a handful for the Chavs. Tire them out and then bring on Crouch and Garcia late in the game to kill them off.

Sounds good to me, but can you seriously see Rafa doing it!?!
I like this one.....Kuyt is a hard workeer and better then Crouch with the ball at his feet and can hold it up and move with the ball better. crouch on late 2nd half. This way he can depedning on the situaton move Gerrard out wide right and slip Bellers in behind Kuyt if need be. Definetly like Agger more so than Sami for this game.
Here's hoping to a pounding for those blue scum
Rafa please get me.....

interesting signature you have there - i think that the "visitors", or lack of them are largely contributing to the demise of koptalk. dunc has well and truly shot himself in the foot by charging for access to the forums and news sections!!
Hi carheex. I like to keep my Dunktalk on Est1892 to a minimum and let my signature/avator speak for itself.
But since you mention Koptalk's demise, I'll comment a bit on that. I am pretty confident that Koptalk will shut down within a year or two.
Over the last 3-4 months, Duncan Oldham have been hit hard and there are severals reasons for it really. The blog really started it all off so it definately deserves a noble mention. Sites like Est1892 and SCM played a big part as well. So did numerous current and ex-KT members that helped spread the word.
However, the biggest reason without question was the sheer stupidity, narrow minded approach, greed and arrogance of Duncan Oldham.
Looks like you are new to Est1892. Welcome.
"In fact I’m going to make a promise which will be welcomed by many. If there’s no finance secured by the opening day of the season, I’m going to hang up my keyboard and close KOPTALK down."
I have a feeling Crouch will figure though but even if it pains me to say it, I do hope Robbie is nowhere near the first team.
I think we'll miss Riise, and leaving out Alonso seems criminal. However, having a dedicated wide player allowing Gerrard to surge through the middle are key to a good result imo.
