I am living overseas (Spain) and was trying since yesterday morning, pretty much non-stop, to buy 2 tickets for the Portsmouth home game on the 22nd of Dec....

Each time i re-dialed, it was pretty much a 4 step process -

step 1: This is Liverpool football club, you are being charged for this call..................blah blah ****in blah about new phone numbers...

step 2: some other bird going on about all the different matches - eventually press "5" for the Pompy game

step 3: "Liverpool v's Portsmouth...please press 1 for this game" which i ****in did

step 4: "I'm sorry but all our operators are busy... Please call back later"

**** YOU!!! The online sales option wasnt available....what a ****in jokeshop. I love LFC but g-sus christ how ****in hard can it be to organise a website that sells some ****in tickets. Also, before i remember that once you get through, you are basically put on a que so you listen to a **** jingle and after about 5 minutes ytou are told that you are currently "number 309" and this keeps going on until you finally get through....

basically, i will be buying tickets for this game from the touts (AGAIN). If LFC were really pro-active in combating the ticket touts, then they might look into making it easier for fans to buy tickets directly off them..........

oh yeah also, sack parry!!
