I've never ever had a problem getting a ticket. Maybe I'm just lucky.

90% of the time it's that easy.
If the club dont sale a game online, it's a bit more tricky.
Not everybody has the lifestyle that allows them to do.

Fair enough.Originally posted by The Glove View Post
Thats better.
Fell free to tell me I'm wrong, but I reckon anyone with internet access from work and from home can afford to shell out 30 odd quid every other Saturday.
Obviously I dont have a wife/kids etc, so it's easy for me to say.....

I dont think its the price of the tickets thats the issue, its the availability. Granted if people are super dertermind and have a kind employer who'll let them sit on the phone or the net or they dont work or whatever then yeah they should/could be sorted, but if people dont have that, then theyre more stuck and it gets harder for them to geta ticket doesnt it?Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

When online is actually done normally, it IS easy.Originally posted by ronan View Postdepends what you mean by easy
spending 5 hours on a phone hitting redial is neither easy nor cheap.
online is a bag of ****e .
trouble with loyalty is its hardly ever used.
chelsea spurs and arsenal this year spring to mind.
then its down to pure luck whether you get one or not.
And redial is easy too, sure it takes time and money, but i wouldnt call it a tricky task. Bit pot luck sure.
But as i've said, the online avenue, if it's done properly (as it was being done last season) is a piece of piss.

Cant really disagree with this.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostIf you want it enough, it's easy getting tickets through the club. FACT.
Sure you might not get one for every single game but if you do what i've said previously on this thread, you should be ok 90% of the time.

But i'm not having a regular poster tell me their employer doesnt 'let them' sit on the net all day, as they make their 2000th post or what-not.
Their employer doesnt let them rack up thousands of posts on EST either, but they manage it

I have the net at home fair enough but no way can I afford £30 every other Saturday to go the footy. Firstly, it costs money in petrol. Secondly, having 2 kids I can ALWAYS think of something I need to spend my money on which is far more important that going to the footy. Going to the game would be a luxury really. I have the net in my house because (1,2,3 ahhhhhhhhhh) I don't go out drinking much at all during the month so again, it's a luxury in a way. I also have Sky+ but all of that costs me £60 per month and I don't spend much else on drink/clothes for myself so I think I'm entitled to that but it certainly doesn't mean I can afford to go the game even every other week.
NB. Most times I go Chris gets my tickets for me.RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!

What if like me you start at stupid early o'clock, cant use your moby for long periods cause of work issues, have set break times that cannot be altered and live a very very long way from the ticket window and by the way i#m also a member of the newport supporters branch who used to get over 80 tickets per match but now are lucky to get 30 odd, which means you have to get to the shop at stupid early o'clock and queue up before it opens
