If he'd been marked out of a game by Riise that really would destroy the case for him.Originally posted by fred_plasticine View Postit was arbeloa yes..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

That fella is a bit of a clown then so. The poster I mean. Kaka was the best LAST season as a whole but for the backend of last season (Messi was also our for the first half of last season injured) and this season, there is no doubting the best player in world football (on current form). It's Messi by an absolute mile.

The game in Barca was Arbeloa's first for us I think"The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

Balague is a good friend to Rafa so I don't think he makes everything up. He will probably say things the way Rafa want it to be seen but to say that he makes everything up is laughable IMO.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I was wondering about this lately. Do you remember when the Rafa vs G&H ****storm was at full force someone in the media was saying that out coaching staff had left because Rafa had changed his personality? I wonder whether what really happened was that Rafa stopped talking to certain people in the media.Originally posted by AFII View PostBalague is a good friend to Rafa so I don't think he makes everything up. I honestly don't remember. I just think that of late Ballague seems to be much less on the ball with LFC related information. I tend to err towards believing that is due to a lack of insider knowledge rather than AFIIs theory of Rafa feeding him stories deliberately to decieve others.Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostWas Hunter that said that, wasn't it?"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Agree on this point, he was useless in the summer. Was just saying it was Hunter coming out with that crap, saying Rafa had changed and none of his friends recognise him and all of spain feel sorry for our owners.Originally posted by dww View PostI honestly don't remember.
