Dissapointing performance and we let ourselves down quite a bit. Two soft goals in the second half cost us.

I do think that despite playing poorly we were quite unlucky at times. If the one that hit the bar had gone in at 2-1 who knows what would've happened and had Crouch scored in the 88th we might have salvaged something.

In fairness though we got what we deserved.

Lets hope we get two wins from the next and two matches.

Our un-beaten run had to come to an end at some point, eh?

Tuesday may be more important but I would like someone to explain the theory behind having Crouch playing left-wing which is what his position was today during the first-half. That's the ideal position for Babel as it's where he grew up playing for Ajax, in this sort of formation. I'm a Crouch fan but it was barmy to have him on the pitch in that role.

3. Team selection in general was poor.

4. Alonso, Lucas and Benayoun. One of them MUST be on the pitch or our game suffers.

They shouldn't have been gven a penalty in the first half, if Stevie' shot was two inches lower, if Crouch hadn't hit the post etc... etc...
