After all this recent waffle about CROUCH not getting a game....and being courted by suiters.....HE WAS LESS THAN USELESS TODAY! We all know he can't head the ball to save his life, nor can he pass it....but now we mus add the complete inability to 'read' an attack...and get onto the end of crosses (how many of those did he fail top connect with today? What does he add to our team...? Nothing!

SISSOKO also cant pass or head the ball...and he blunders into tackles (unlike mascherano), and contributes as much as Crouch - nothing!

Get rid of BOTH in JAN and put us all out of our misery!

It was in the 90th minute (we were already 3-1 down!).....and it only hit the post because of a deflection.

He makes a great loser....but that's noy what we're about!

Sissoko, Riise, Crouch, Voronin and Kuyt should be sold and one or two high quality players must be signed.

We need players like Aguero, Lahm, Nasri, Diego, Chiellini. Players that will make a difference when they play, that can decide a tight game.

Gerrard and Torres are our only two high quality attacking players.

Arbeloa, Finnan, Carra and Agger are our only four high quality defenders.

We need more high quality players that will make a difference.

I hope G&H are prepared to splash the cash because they must do that.

Those are big name players which cost a lot. I don't think G&T have that much money unless Rafa offloads them for big money

Now that I agree with AF. Our wide players (1st 11 or back-up) are too ineffective too often.

We needed to make a top quality wideman purchase who would be good enough to go staright into the 1st 11 rihght now in the summer (possibly even 2) and we didn't do it - we settled for Babel & Benayoun. Good purchases maybe but not the right ones for width and not thew ones really needed for right now. Another top quality goalscoring striker was also requirred and what did we do: we stuck with Crouch & Kuyt and bought in Voronin. The addition of Babel helped, but again, didn't address the primary problem - a top quality striking partner for Torres.

That is the type of players we need, sure. But its money first. Rafa does have his eyes on some Bosmans as well. So he probably will think of summer as well as January. Remember January prices are well inflated for buying but it could work in our advantage when selling

Crouch had no service whatsoever tonight from wide positions which is what he needs. Also he was playing out wide which clearly doesn't suit him.

Momo was his usual self, great energy, good pressure on the ball, poor passing & distribution.

The formation had a lot to do with it and i agree with Sissoko, Risse and Voronin not good enough for LFC.

We lost this game because we`ve not had the opportunity to buy the best players possible in the last 3 yrs like ManU and Chelsea.Playing ManU and Marsaille in the next week meant we were never able to play our best 11 or anything near it!!!!!!

Last I checked Crouch is not a left-winger. He was played out of position in the first-half and in the second-half it wasn't until about the 75th minute that he started playing centrally.

Early in the first half Crouch found himself helping out Riise at LB. That is just bonkers when he's supposed to be our "out ball" to build quick counter-attacks.

We've had the same problem earlier in the season when Kuyt and Voronin spent sections of games playing in right or left midfield.

I see your 'unbeaten in the league' footer needs updating....perhaps something along the lines of....'would still be unbeaten - is it wasn't for CROUCH + SISSOKO'!
