I would have expected Crouch to play as I thought his height would worry their defence
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agreed. Would have liked to have seen Crouch there, but a good side, more than capable of doing this job.

          COME ON LADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, i'm surprised Crouch isn't playing but Kuyt has improved since his howler at Blackburn. I guess he's hoping that he creates space for Torres with his running off the ball!

But he binned the game at 3-1 down with twenty minutes to go.

I'll never forget that, he disrespected the domestic league, which is a disgrace.

He badly needs a result tonight otherwise the knives will be out, and he'll deserve it.
A touch harsh methinks........ I think he was pragmatic and thought about preserving his big players for the next game. Not much wrong with that.

I'm confident enough with that team, would have liked Crouch for Kuyt but I can understand why he's picked for this game.

Very happy with Benayoun and Kewell, that was the most important thing for me.

With that tactic, perhaps we should have gone with Kuyt and Crouch then.

Strongest team we could have put out IMO. Stevie Yossi and Kewell will cause them problems.

                            COME ON THE REDS!!
