becuase we have an extra 2 days? something to do with training?
because we were winning at a canter? whereas saturday night we would have had to push to even get anything?

    I have no definitive answer......BUT

do you think Rafa is stupid? do you not think he had a reason? or do you think the man once described as a walking enyclopedia just did it for a laugh?

He couldn't take any chances at all because of things like this. You can't only look at what happening on the pitch, you must look what happens off it to.
      Nonsense.

      All speculation.

Again, why not try to win the Reading game?

So if we're three nil down in a weekend league game, with a big European game in midweek, would you be happy if Rafa did what he did on Saturday every time?

      No you bloody wouldn't.

This is ****ing depressing. Enjoy tonight for ****'s sake, we got beat for the first time at the weekend. Big ****ing whoop. Rafa knows what he's doing compared to a few people who obviously think he was intentionally trying to lose the game and disrespecting the Prem. What a pile of ****ing ****e.

DJS gets far too much abuse in my opinion.

No, i think he makes mistakes where there's sometimes no need for it.

                Do YOU think he's infallible?

You're so lucky that Rafa tells you these things while you dine with him every other night.

Pure speculation without any substance AF, andyou knw it.

Face facts, Rafa didn't give the Reading game the respect it deserved, and it could cost us in the one competition that matters the most to us.

Why aren't more people completely outraged by this? Do none of you care about the league anymore and what it means to this club?

there's no reason why players like babel or kewell couldn't have played against reading. that game was a complete **** up and a missed opportunity.

Today was a good win although imo we were in this prediciment because rafa played some really poor players in the earlier games.

kewell adds so much more balance to our side, hope he can stay fit. torres is the real superstar and kuyt - well i still reckon he's not good enough.

don't care who we get next, its obvious rafa priorities this competition over the league and will play the best possible team for the knockout phases

He wasn't intentionally trying to lose the game mate.

But IMO he did give it up.

Delighted about tonight, but did a genuine attempt to get back into the Reading game need to be sacrificed to do that?

I'm chuffed with tonight, it was a perfect performance away from home. Sublime in fact.

That doesnt stop me thinking about the Man Utd game and desperately wanting to win that. I want our chances to be as high as possible.

                              Maybe you dont.

Maybe it's good that i get to go to the games, because at least it's obvious that i'm pissed off when we lose...others seem not to be fussed...and have a go at those of us who are. Surreal.

see you keep saying that, and you couldnt be more wrong. I would love nothing better than to absolutley stuff the mancs. Just because i back the manager when he has clearly made a mistake doesnt mean i tolerate losing.

It was one bleeding game. It was our first loss in the league.

We showed tonight that it was a minor blip.

Bring on the Manc *******s, cause i can smell blood

He does. People don't like his views. Heck I don't at times but he gets my vote cos he gets off his arse and gets to the games come wind or rain. Yet people counter his arguments with abuse. I find that bizarre. If you don't agree and can't argue for toffee then ignore but personal abuse isn't necessary in my book.
