I think Rafa will surprise us and pick an unchanged team, unless Masch is out in which case Xabi or Lucas will replace him.

Personally I would keep the same team as last night apart from Kuyt, Id play Torres & Crouch as I think Crouch will cause them more problems than Kuyt would.

In my opinion Riise & Kewell play very well together and I wouldnt risk the balance of the team by changing that.

Regardless I have a happy feeling that we will emerge victorious!!!

Kuyt played well enough last night to keep his place though, so I'd have no qualms on that front.

              Dumped or rested(rotated)?

I hope he don't start, no disrespect like.

Power and pace are like meat and drink to Vidic and Ferdinand, they are all about power and pace. Crouch has a bit more subtlty to his play IMO.

there is no way the scum will get through this game without fouling crouch in the area.

whether the ref will have the bottle to give it is a different matter

I am just praying we can have a convincing win against them for a change.

Sick of all the near misses last few seasons where we've played them off park and managed to cock up.

Jesus how sweet would a 2 or 3-0 win be after how spawny they've been last few fixtures against us.

We will win. That's twice I've said it in 2 days. I've never felt more confident.

just finished work - off tomorrow for chrimbo shopping - supposed to be making lists of prezzies to buy - can't think of anything other than sunday now.

I'm confident of course, but as always ****ting it as it's too close to call [as always] and it's just got too much at stake to lose. We'll be in the alehouse early on Sunday, and well lubricated for the afternoon shift on the Kop

                      Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

                        my team would be
                        pepe
                        finnan carra sami arbeloa
                        gerrard masch lucas kewell
                        crouch torres

never confident going into these games, same as the bitters just feel nervy and sick beforehand legs doin nintey miles n hour under some table and swamping ale
                        roll on sunday.

my team line up for this one would have to be:

                          -----------------reina-----------------
                          finnan----carra--------hyypia-----riise
                          benni-----gerrard---masher-----kewell
                          ----------torres-----voronin---------

                          subs: itandje
                          arbeloa
                          lucas
                          aurelio
                          crouch

i'd stick in finnan as he not as likely to bomb forward as much as arbeloa in this game. riise gets the nod as i dont think aurelio fit enough for this game.
benni and kewell should start as although we need to defend solidly we definately have the players to attack them and these two can cause problems for the scum.
i'd go with voronin as i can see a physical match and rouch is no good at the physical battles and kyut also too light weight - the crow will put himself about.
i've kept agger out as again he hasn't played for a while and it's too big a risk to start him so sami stays.
arbeloa and aurelio gives options at either full back or midfield on both sides.
lucas gives strength to the middle should we need it.
crouch is there for emergency use should we need to start playing the long ball late on.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

**** yeah. I hate to be to look a prat. Especially after our convincing wins in the CL.

We have a days extra rest and we should be ****ing raring to go.

Defeat is not an option this time. I'd be devastated.

I'm strangely calm about this match and very confident of winning. Personally I think we'll **** them 3-0 or 4-1.
