    Hats off to...

Harry Kewell. Good to see Harry playing well...assisted on two goals today and should have gotten one himself. I wrote him off over the summer but, even with his lack of pace, he's showing that he's still a class player.

He's had a horrible time with injuries since joining us. Fingers crossed that he stays fit for a while this time around.

Yossi Benayoun. Another good display from the little Israeli. Looked good in possession and defended well. I'm glad to have him as a Liverpool player.

And...Dirk Kuyt. Played well today. Sure, he's got his shortcomings, but he does provide a good foil for Torres, and I'm glad to see him take his goal well. He's come in for a lot of abuse from us this season, some of it well-deserved, but he deserves credit for today's performance. I'd start him against the Scum on Sunday.

      Great game from Harry.

The pundits over here were creaming themselves over him, one of them also stated that he spoke to his manager Bernie whatsisface, and Bernie said Kewell was feeling the best he has in years, and that he is loving playing with Torres. They have developed a nice little bond on the pitch.

      Please stay fit Harry.

He's certainly sharper than he has been for a long time. Amazing considering how little he has played but I suspect he is finally got some confidence in his body which is translating into confidence in his play. His pass to Torres was so simple but so effective, allowing Torres to turn into the space and go straight at them.

No doubt he has helped the team lift it's performance and long may that continue

Harry played well, not much pace, but great vision and his distribution is something we have been lacking ...

          Welcome back son !

His pace will come with games. He might be something like 20% quicker still. He still have a decent turn of foot though but his technique is so good that he could easily change his game to adapt to the situation.

It's so sad that most of his LFC career was blighted with injuries. He's so talented that it can be said that 4 years of his playing careers were waisted due to injuries. Hats off to him for knuckling down and coming back once again. The lad needs an injury free run now.

Already has IMO. He's needed to with his injuries and developed other parts of his game during his long run in 05/06. Just needs to regain his scoring touch now, this Sunday is a good place to start.

Yeah, Harry has been really good since his return. I have always been a Kewell fan and have believed that he will be senational for us this season.

As mentioned in the thread he may not have all the pace in the world, and may get a little quicker as he plays more games and gets fitter, but he is playing such intelligent football at the moment that it does not really matter

                Well done lad

THought he was our best player. Having a genuine wide player of quality certainly helps the team. Let's just hope he's over his injuries.

Dont beat yourself up mate, I think the general consensus was that a fit Harry would be a big improvement to our team, our doubts were is the fecker ever going to be fit again?!

Hope he keeps this form and fitness up because it is apparent that without him we lack a lot of qualities!

Kewell certainly seems to give us an extra attacking edge down the left side, it's good to see him back!

Nice luxury to be able to take him off for the last 20 mins and give him a bit of rest for Sun, where he could be an important player for us.
