I think he'll be fine - he looked fine when he came back on and he's as tough as nails.
Interesting to see Alonso will be back.. so the debate should change to who should start Xabi or Mascher..? I'll go for Mascher with xabi to come on later.

Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

Isn't it prohibited though, playing with a wooden leg ?

If both are fit Rafa will play them both IMO, we need Xabi's ball retention skills against the mancs. Options will then be either Gerrard right, or one up top. I'd prefer Benayoun to play with Torres up top out of those options.

Personally I'd stick with the Mascher/Stevie CM axis thats been working so well though.

The positive thing is that we be able to sign him a lot cheaper.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If he has amputated his leg then we will probably only need to pay half the price for him.

Radio Merseyside reported, this afternoon, that he is OK for Sunday

(or is it just being put out to confound and confuse the ungodly?)
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

never stopped another of liverpools greats
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

                      Lucas+Gerrard will be fine.
No need to worry. Man U always play with just one up front with a 5-man midfield and get everyone behind the ball at Anfield. Their objective is to try to avoid defeat rather than try to win. They've played like this for the last 5 years at Anfield. If we played like that we'd be crucified by the media, but everyone just looks the other way when it's Man U
