Gerrard on Penalty Duty

I'm sorry but i NEVER feel confident when he takes our penalties.
He missed a crucial one against Bolton at home in Houllier's last season if memory serves me right and that has always stayed with me, think he's missed one or two more.
I know he's knocked a few in this season but still i'm never convinced by him from 12 yards.
How about you guys?

I remember, he was first choice to take a penalty in the CL Final in 2005 should we have got one. And he would've had that opportunity, but unluckily got injured.

Xabi, Lucas, Agger and Aurelio would be my other choices.

He's missed loads of pens. Did he not miss one at home to Spurs a couple of years ago, we ended up drawing and he said he'd never take another pen for Liverpool?

I agree with you, I am never confident with him from the spot. He's missed far too many to inspire confidence when he steps up.

Gerrard has scored 9 penalties from 14.Just in comparison Owen's record was 13 scored from 23.Our greatest penalty taker was the Great Dane Molby 42 out of 45.

Not great. Our best penalty takers are Kuyt and Kewell

I'm just wondering, Kuyt was on the field the other night when we got the penalty and Gerrard was the one who won the penalty.

Now, didn't someone say Rafa's policy is whoever wins the penalty doesn't take it?
