I can't understand this obsession for people on an internet forum to try to create a song for any of our players or the team. The best songs are created at the match or, more often, in the pubs or coaches and trains on the way to away games. Like "Ring of Fire" for example.

Torres song should be done to the Eye of the Tiger Baby!

There have been several threads already for songs dedicated to Fernando Torres and countless efforts to use the Abba song, as it's so bloody obvious.

And previously for Morientes.

Ythere may have been attempts made at the song fernando before but none stuck because they werent good enough, imo we could've made a great song for Torres to that tune.

Maybe its because people on internet forums live all over the World and they can't make it to the games or they don't live in Liverpool but love the club just as passionately and want to do their bit.

Actually, credit where credit's due. The Mancs have made some pretty good songs up over the years and I hate the *******s but anybody that uses a Joy Division song deserves some respect. We nicked 'The Entertainer' from them which they first used about four or five years ago.

Although I'm not keen on the Seven Nation Army/Mascherano chant. Just don't think it works or is very inspiring.
