Yes, we do, and I'd much rather the focus was on that. Everytime there's a big game the press, rather than write about the quality that'll be on show, prefer to find problems within clubs and pass them off as a crisis.

Don't worry it'll all be over next week when G&H go back to the states and Rafa continues his work with us. The press will start picking on Capello then.

Lets look at the facts here.
there was a serious problem a few weeks ago between the the board and Rafa. Rafa wouldn't publically have a go at G&H if there wasn't and Hicks wouldn't tell Rafa to concentrate on coaching either.

Since then we've qualified for th CL last 16 but we've heard nothing from G&H or Parry in the way of support for Rafa.

Only this week, Rafa was banging on about, I'm a manager not a coach.

Now it seems to me that there clearly was a major problem and unless 1 side has backed down there still is. I'd be amazed if Hicks backed down, he's the owner and he'll think Rafa should do as he's told. Hicks doesn't seem the sort of bloke to be dictated to by an employee. I don't think they'll see Rafa as irreplacable as we do. Hicks will think he can replace Rafa with somebody equally as good , if not better.

So my view is that Rafa will have to tow the line or leave, that is if Hicks hasn't already decided his time's up. I doubt Rafa's in any immediate danger but equally I doubt his future is anything but very insecure.

To be fair most of the ranting comes after speculation from other Liverpool forums gets posted here. For the most part Est seems to be made up of reasonably considered opinions.
