Well im firmly in the Enemma camp here( is that rude??). Interesting that we can allinterpret the quotes and non-quotes into our way of thinking and of our impression of our owners. Also interesting that information 'from the ech sportsdesk' (for example) can be told to a mate, but not published. This stuff - as reported yesterday- would make the echo famous, but no, they keep it to themselves..................hmmmmmmmmm.

Who knows. Last week Parry said one thing about the stadium one day and then an almost complete opposite thing a few days later.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostSo he was lying then?
Oh dear...
I only pointed out that they will have to earn our love and trust by backing the club.Originally posted by enema of the state View Postoh ffs......its all a machiavellian plot by these evil american gold-diggers to bleed the club dry and fob us of with anti-knowledge via the complicit media

Rafa have said that he want a new deal, why not sort that out, give him a new deal to 2013 or 2014.
Would be a very good decision that would create stability on and off the pitch.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Perhaps he was lying?
Regardless of all the crap that is written in the media, if a player becomes avaliable that Rafa wants we wil make a bid. I also think it's a fair assumption that players will be sold in January for a good fee which will mean signing players is a necessityKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

As Rick Parry said. 'We're not going to go telling everyone in the public domain what our plans are.' Which is what the club always does. We almost never reveal transfer targets and after seeing Parry interviewed I'm sure that he knows who Rafa wants and whether we can get them.Originally posted by Gazzla View PostI remember seeing Rafas interview and I cannot remember a direct quote which implied there was no money, in fact he was very careful not to commit himself.

That's damn true Kurt (or damn real as you now say in TNA , I guess it must be trademarked?) But yes I totally agreeOriginally posted by kurtangle01 View PostAs Rick Parry said. a lot of people would of been happy to see Ged get a long contract 2001/2002 time
we are a buisiness now and costs change on a daily basis and that business needs to adapt.
the stadium is a huge factor here and a huge cost and isn't it still bigger than the plans a year ago?
would we all prefer we go into administration to keep the fans happy
if the press could get the fans against the owners they'd have a field day and would sell more papers. Its times like these we learn to live again FF

Yes it's sad really, he even has his wife Karen making a complete tit out of herself as well. Bravo 2 at 9pm on Saturdays, it's quite sad how far he has fallen. I guess being drugged up to **** didn't help his cause either (allegedly)Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostDamn real?! Does he really say that now?

i disaageree pepole have known for along time the aevconomy was going to struggle this year. THis agenerally hapen in 5 year cylcles.Originally posted by bazza76 View PostTop post mate.
There is no way everyone would have known what was going to happen with the credit situation, otherwise the stockmarket would have went haywire with the volume of people trying to conduct business to protect themselves.
Your post is very well written and makes alot of sense.
Some people can decide, we were promised this and we are not getting this, but there is a certain amount of understanding we have to have not just as LFC fans.

Not to the extent that it has.Originally posted by captainfog View Posti disaageree pepole have known for along time the aevconomy was going to struggle this year. THis agenerally hapen in 5 year cylcles.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Firstly, I believe this guy Bond is telling the truth. He's been right in the past with this sort of stuff and clearly has some strong connections within the Banking sector. People may treat the nationals with a degree of skepticism (and rightly so) but they're much more likely to report the truth than, say, The Echo (who don't want to endanger their links with the Club).
Next, the Liverpool Board appears to be made up of six members (according to the Official site) - G&H, their offspring, Moores and Coco. I believe the "fierce opposition" is coming from Moores and Moores alone. Maybe Parry feels guilty over what he's done but I'm not gonna express my feelings towards that man right now.
Finally, they don't give a **** about the stadium anymore. The problems arise from the fact that our balance sheet can't handle both the acquisition debt and the stadium debt. So they've had to decide between the two - and they've chosen the acquisition debt. We could be commencing building the new stadium early in the New Year had they decided to retain the liability for the acquisition debt (as they promised). But instead they've decided to unload it onto the Club and postpone building the stadium.
Why?
As for this being normal practice for LBOs - it probably is. What distinguishes this however is that this buyout requires a huge initial capital expenditure (i.e. the stadium) - something which should rank above any desire to transfer the purchase debt onto the Club.
