Well whose fault was it then? granted the players were ****, but they play his tactics. Anyone could tell 2 subs were needed at half-time, how many were made? None, as usual. Its pure stubborness.

I will back Rafa to the hilt but when he makes stubborn, stupid mistakes like this it is hard to. He really doe's shoot himself in the foot sometimes as much as I love him, like at Reading. he refuses to learn from his mistakes.

I still think Rafa can win us the league but, and surely SOME people must agree, that he has to start learning from his mistakes, and change some of his stubborn attitude!

No point with debating with the agenda-pushing blert. Wish he'd just **** off and support his local team 606-Surrey FC.

No prizes handed out in December. We'll be fourth in May. Chelsea showed us what Man City really are.

Reality check guys. We are the fourth best team in the league.
because we beat them with a largely similar team in the FA cup, they never pressurised us a great deal in the match, and they scored from a set play again. We had around 50 mins to try and get a goal back and we didn't we had players on the pitch who shouldn't have been there, so for that I blame Rafa, I agree we still need money7 to fill the squad out with better second choice players, but our first should be good enough, and imo Rafa didn't pick his first team - Riise and Kuyt? don't make me laugh

What a load of bollocks some of the negative people post on this thread. Torres is ordinary??? Where was Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez? Where was captain Marvel? Jesus, Utd looked word ordinary and a few things cancelled a few things out.

FFS, get a grip, we were beaten by a set piece and make a good account of ourselves in real terms are we that far away? IMO, no.

Back your ****ing team or **** off.

Very true. We're spending the money required to be a top 4 side, not a top 2.

However, we're currently underachieving this and if it is all about money, then why are we equal with Everton and Portsmouth at almost the halfway mark?

With the money we've spent we should be putting distance between us and the likes of Everton, but we're starting to find ourselves battling with teams like this every season to get into the CL.

Of course we're not going to be near ****ing relegation. Outside of the top 4 is relegation for the big clubs...

They have an excellent home record but they haven't won a game away from home

unlikely, wouldn't call the mickey mouse cup anything like a big achievement, i'd have taken a win over the mancs today rather than wining that cup

One win against them does not suggest we are as good as them. We're not. We keep getting shown up by Chelsea, Arsenal and scum in the league.

Agenda-pushing? I've frequently said in recent weeks I think sacking Rafa now would be a huge mistake, even when we've had some really desperate performances and despite my own personal belief which I've had for over a year now that Rafa is simply not the man for us in the league.

The thing is that Scum spend £50m on three quality players and that does not include Tevez. They did not have to sell anyone.

We spend about the same amount but have to sell and buy players which "might" come good in 2 years. Apart from Torres, who else is ready to step us to the plate. At present, Babel is punching above his weight: he is not yet reading.

This win might be a good thing: G&T now have to deliver. If they don't, I can see Rafa leaving for Real at the end of the season. We still have to break the bank for a quality midfielder.

Look at it from their point of view. When you see the manager making pretty obvious errors then why trust him with more cash when, by all accounts, it's not as if we're loaded.
