I'm not basing that on todays match. I think we need to strengthen those 2 areas and today showed it as good as any match.

I thought Anderson did better than Gerrard today. Stevie was nowhere to be seen for the majority of the match whereas Anderson was tracking back very well and stopped 1 or 2 of our plays.

We were better in every position today.

Anderson was better than gerrard. there wingers made better runs than ours, infact they ran ours never. They never done nothin special but they take up 3 men. Everytime one of ours gets the ball they stop, stop isnt in ronaldo giggs rooney or teves dictionary.
Hargreaves passing was better than maschareno.

We desperately need another quality striker.

The reason Rafa rates Kuyt is because of his tireless running.

This weakens us up front because he's never in goal threatening positions. That's the only thing he does for me cause he's absolutely ****in ****e at everything else.

Crouch is a much better option but is too limited in what he can do.

Voronin is average and always chooses the wrong options.

Here are my two suggestions for striking replacements:

David Villa - now Valencia out of European football.
Gabriel Agbonlahor - you may laugh at the suggestion, but he's got the lot for me. Pace, power and strength. It's another thing if Aston Villa would want to sell him.

Time for Hicks to pull his finger out of his arse and into his back pocket.
