I talk that sometimes but not all the time like you do. At least I'm man enough to admit when I do that.

I wasn't talking tribull when i said to get your money on capello at 14's was I?!

oh yeah...I mean if Riise and Kuy get it 'as the norm' then why not share it out - this is a great idea let's have a random 'Why is No One Slagging Off...' thread each week! Genius. Coming up next week, I don't think Babel's had enough since he came, so let's do one for him. And it's really pissing me off how everyone wanks over Nando all the time, what did the cunt do yesterday, didn't score did he?! Let's do him the week after.

He's a player that I see as good enough to be on the fringe of the first team, regularly coming in to the starting XI to freshen things, good option coming off the bench against top teams, one of the first in line to come in when there are injuries etc.

I'd say he's definitely got more of a long term future with us than Voronin, Kuyt, Crouch, and Riise.

you should know me well enough by now Polo me aul mucka! whan I say "rips most defenses apart" it translates as " would cause most defenses a nice few problems"!

I'm not slagging him off by the way. I only gave my opinion about him. The mistake yesterday was his first big mistake this season but that don't make him a bad player. Every player makes mistakes and learn from them.

Our players made a lot of mistakes the first year with Rafa because they didn't understand zonal marking good enough. Benny is still learning Rafa's zonal marking. He will get better when he understand that better.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I'd rather Crotch than Yossa tbh.

Thing is, if we were splitting hairs I would say I sided more with AFII on this one. If you are generally looking for somone you can come off the bench and be on the periffery of things and be versatile and all of that good stuff then surely Babel is a better option?

Well, in terms of the current situation, having two players like that is generally better than just one. In the long term I'd like to think Babel will become a first team regular anyway. Even if not, out of the 5-7 on the bench, you'd hope more than one would be capable of changing the game.

I think too many people confuse the fact we really want better than certain players as regular first teamers, with the idea that they are not good enough full stop. Yossi is the best RM player we have currently, and even if we find that elusive top notch wide player to take his spot, he's well worth a place in the squad for me.

Babel is nowhere near as cute or has the eye for a pass Benayoun does. They're totally different players

To be honest Reina should be calling if everyone should be moving out IMO. Attacking players don't tend to have instincts in these sorts of things and communication is key. It was a mistake by Benayoun but one which might have been made less likely with different types of organisation/communication.

I thought that all of our flair players Benayoun, Kewell and Torres were quiet on Saturday and it is in this area we had hoped we had improved recently such that we could hope to compete at the same level as the likes of Chelsea and United have in recent years. It is a shame but my feeling for a while has been that we have lacked a player with a top mentality in these positions (Kewell might once have been that player/person but he is feeling his way back and seems to lack the acceleration needed to execute some of his intentions).

One of our central defenders should have been standing infront off Tevez, blaming Yossi is futile.

                                Check list:

he can control a ball TICK
he can pass the ball TICK
he can beat a man TICK
he doesn't give away possesion TICK

WTF are you lot going on about. Is he world class, nope. Is Quaresimodo ? Nope, did everyone want us to sign him for $1Billion, yep.

At the end of the day we ****ed up on a corner, they scored get over it.

Ronaldo and Giggs were proper ****.

Kewel was rubbish, he was like slow mo, giving the ball away far too frequently. Masch passing was ****, JAR was piss poor going forward, torres should have buried the header.

He's had good games, can't really remember him having too many bad ones, but then so has stevie, xabi reina, carra, hyppia, torres, kewel, masch.
